    The Nissan Xterra PRO-4X is from a wonderful time when an SUV was allowed to be an actual SUV. Boxy, rugged, body-on-frame, four-wheel drive, and not particularly concerned about whether you could fit a Stanley cup in 14 different places. And this one has the combination that's getting seriously hard to find: PRO-4X, V6, 4WD, and a 6-speed MANUAL.

    This 2011 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X is finished in Silver Lightning Metallic and powered by Nissan's 4.0-liter V6, with you not a computer handling the shifts through a 6-speed manual transmission. The PRO-4X was built for legitimate off-road use, making this the kind of SUV that belongs on a mountain trail, at a campsite, or covered in enough dirt that washing it almost feels disrespectful. And unlike most modern SUVs, nobody is going to mistake it for something designed primarily to pick up groceries.

I have owned 2, my first one saved my son and his friends life, they hit black ice and flipped upside down and took out numerous trees. They were both over six feet tall, not a scratch or a bruise.
